1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website and to quote requests you send us. By using the website you agree to them. “TBE”, “we” and “us” mean Tshepy Business Enterprise (Pty) Ltd.

2. Quotes

A quote request sent through this website is an enquiry, not a booking. A quote is only binding once we have confirmed it to you in writing.

Quotes are based on the information you give us (cargo, weight, dimensions, route and dates). If that information changes or turns out to be inaccurate, the price and timing may change.

Unless the quote states otherwise, prices exclude customs duties, VAT, port and terminal charges, storage, demurrage and other third-party costs, which are charged as incurred.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for giving us complete and accurate shipping and customs information and documents, and for making sure goods are lawful, properly packed and correctly declared.

Costs, delays or penalties caused by incorrect or missing information or documents are for your account.

4. Transit times and third parties

Transit and clearance times are estimates. Shipping lines, airlines, ports, customs authorities and weather can cause delays that are outside our control.

Where we use carriers, warehouses and other service providers, their own terms and liability limits may also apply.

5. Liability and insurance

Our liability is limited as set out in your confirmed quote or service agreement and as allowed by South African law. We recommend that you insure your cargo; we can arrange cover on request.

6. Payment

Payment terms are as stated on your quote or invoice. We may hold goods until amounts owed for the related services are paid.

7. Your personal information

When you request a quote we collect your name, contact details and shipment details. We use this only to respond to you and to provide our services, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We don’t sell your information.

You may ask us at any time what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.

8. Website content

We try to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but it is general information and not a binding offer. The TBE name, logo and content on this site belong to TBE and may not be used without our permission.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
